Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Andrew and I'm a PDI in North Ayrshire. I cover the Garnock Valley area and occasionally Paisley.

I chose to become a driving instructor because I wanted a better work life balance. I liked the idea of being my own boss and controlling my own schedule as well as being able to teach people a valuable life skill.
I chose Caledonian to complete my training with after a recommendation from a friend of my wife who had recently qualified as an ADI with them.

What is the best advice you could give your learners?

Best advice I can give to my students is to just relax and take your time.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

When I'm not working I like to spend time with my wife and kids. I also read a lot of books and try to get out running at least 3 times a week.

One interesting fact about you...

If you're not a gamer you won't find this interesting but I used to work for Rockstar North many years ago and my name appears in the credits for Grand Theft Auto 4 & Red Dead Redemption.
