Who are you and what do you do?
Hi I am Pauline McCabe. I have been a qualified driving instructor since 2011. At present, I teach manual lessons but will be changing in the future to automatic. I love helping people reach there goals by building confidence and being a responsible driver.

What is the best thing about being a driving instructor?
I love meeting people from all different backgrounds and ages. I love to see people achieve their goal of getting their driving licence. Knowing I have helped peopleĀ have a more positiveĀ future is an amazing feeling.
I am passionate about my work, it is different every day and I learn so much from my clients.
What is the best advice you could give your learners?
I like to give my students a few pieces of advice and that is to relax and have fun while learning, learn from your mistakes and take your time.
WhatĀ do you like to do when you're not working?
I enjoy taking my dog for a walk and relaxing. I like socialising with my friends and going out to restaurants.
One interesting fact about you...
One of my jobs before was a Park Ranger. Part of my job was to patrol the Glasgow Necropolis where we would give historic walking tours. The Necropolis is my favorite place still to visit, with its amazing architectural monuments, there is so much to see and so much history of Glasgow buried in there!
