Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Shaun and I deliver manual driving lessons in East Kilbride and the surrounding areas. I am currently a PDI, training with Caledonian DT to become an ADI.

What is the best thing about being a driving instructor?
The best thing about being a driving instructor is meeting new people on a regular basis and not knowing what they are going to bring to each lesson. Also, the feeling of instant delight when a student passes, but also that knot in your stomach as you know you will likely never see them again after helping them gain a life changing achievement.
What is the best advice you could give your learners?
The best advice I could give to my students is to be more like the Tortoise than the Hare; slow and steady will always win the race. Not only does taking things slower help with decision making, it also gives you time to react if anything does go wrong.
What do you like to do when you're not working?
When I'm not working I'm kept busy with my family. I have 3 young children and I love nothing more than being outdoors with them, come rain or shine. I also love keeping active through sports.
One interesting fact about you...
One interesting fact about me is I have no (natural) immune system, I have to inject myself once a week with someone else immune system in order maintain a healthy life.
